Ruben Marquez, Board President
United Way of Jackson County

Dear Friends

These are some very difficult times in Jackson County.  We are facing problems today that seem greater than anything we’ve seen in our lifetime.

But I believe this is only temporary.  Do you know why?

Because our community is filled with people like you.

People with open, caring hearts.  People with strong wills and even stronger backs.

People who, when faced with a challenge, stand up and say – “Count me in.  Bring it on.”

Because of your support – and your hard work and talent:

  • Over 50,000 of our friends and neighbors received help last year
  • Over 20,000 calls for help were answered through our 2-1-1 hotline
  • Over 100,000 meals were delivered to food pantries across Jackson county
  • Over $2,000,000 worth of prescription medications were provide to people in need

I could go on and on about the great support the people of Jackson County are receiving because of your help, but, instead, let me leave you with just one thought.

When we all work together, when we truly LIVE UNITED, there’s nothing we can’t accomplish.

Thank you for choosing to LIVE UNITED.  And thank you for making Jackson County a better place for all of us to live, work and play.

President, Board of Directors
