Investing for Impact: United Way Launches 2020-21 RFP

Posted on

United Way is seeking proposals from local nonprofit partners and programs for investing to advance our crucial work in Jackson County.

United Way of Jackson County continues to seek out and support a range of services which will help local households find their pathways to lasting financial stability, said Ken Toll, President & CEO.

“Families throughout Jackson County need a wide variety of services to complete this journey,” Toll said. “This grant cycle invites local nonprofits to show us where their services fit along that continuum, from providing basic needs so the family is ready to take that first step, all the way through supporting their success at a living wage job.”

Also, Toll pointed out, the grant process now includes a special focus on equitably addressing disparities and better supporting populations facing additional barriers to stability.

Funding will be available starting July 1, 2020, and continuing through June 30, 2021. Request For Proposal documents are available for download on our Financial Stability page, uwjackson.org/strong-and-stable-families. Click on the link to access the documents. Deadline to receive proposals is Monday, March 2, 2020, by 5 p.m.
