2018 CAMPAIGN UPDATE

Campaign season is going on now and it's not too late to run yours. Contact Beth or Marc, to start planning and improving your campaign now.

TIP OF THE MONTH

Improve your campaign by following UWJC’s best practices for a successful campaign.

  • Schedule a presentation – United Way staff would embrace the opportunity to take just a few minutes at an upcoming meeting and talk about who we are and what we do.
  • Executive Endorsement – Have the boss explain why United Way is important to them and your organization as a whole.
  • Campaign Incentives – This is an outstanding way to encourage your coworkers to participate. We have a long list of ideas on our website. Click here and look under Campaign Tips from Carolyn Bloodworth.
  • Thank you – Two simple words that can’t be shared enough. Be sure to thank participants before, during, and after your campaign. We can even come back during the winter months to express our thanks and explain what is happening as a result of your gifts.
