Community Action Agency VITA and My Free Taxes Income tax preparation. We have several approaches to helping folks file their income tax returns. You can coach those who are willing to try to do their own or you can do returns for those who would prefer that. We welcome support staff. Our Neighbor's Keeper Deliver Furniture We give free furniture to the homeless and less fortunate once they obtain housing we deliver to their door and they take it from there unless disabled we need help please usually a few hours on Saturdays Thanks so very much. Lily Missions Center After School Mentor Volunteers needed to help students in our after school program. Volunteers would assist with assignment completion and work on areas of need in reading and math. May also be assisting kids in computer education, language education and other various activities. Jackson County Department of Human Services Volunteer Transporter Volunteer will provide transportation to DHS customers with medical appointments or visitation appointments between parents and their children when other alternatives are not available. The volunteer will be expected to coordinate with case worker and families based on information received from case workers. With our combined talents and donation of time, we raise awareness and funds for programs that promote our mission.  Our members are offered more than a dozen volunteer opportunities every year making it simple for them to reach their minimum membership service requirement of 10 hours annually. Energizing Education: Advancing reading skills of elementary students
