Advancing reading skills of elementary students
In-school mentors’ primary job is to assist students in kindergarten through third grade in practicing their literacy skills, with the goal of reaching grade level milestones by the end of the year. Click here for more information.

|Jackson County Department of Human Services||Volunteer Transporter||Volunteer will provide transportation to DHS customers with medical appointments or visitation appointments between parents and their children when other alternatives are not available. The volunteer will be expected to coordinate with case worker and families based on information received from case workers.
