Finding and funding solutions to community problems

Become part of solution!  Help identify our communities’ priorities for change and determine the programs and resources to address those needs.  See the progress we’re making as a community as lives are changed and we move toward making lasting change in Jackson County.

Advancing reading skills of elementary students

In-school mentors’ primary job is to assist students in kindergarten through third grade in practicing their literacy skills, with the goal of reaching grade level milestones by the end of the year. Click here for more information.

Aspect Foundation Host Family for International Students Host families can be married or single, with or without children. Host families are responsible for providing room, board and a loving home environment for the student. In return, host families and exchange students learn about another culture firsthand, and gain a second family for life! SouthernCare Hospice Patient Visitation Looking for volunteers who would be interested in providing our patients with with supportive, compassionate, friendly visits. Volunteers make their own schedule with a minimum of 15-30 minutes twice a month. Volunteers can assist with a variety of things including bingo, ice cream socials, game nights, reading, music entertainment, etc. Orientation and background check required.TB test and CPR certification are provided.
