Advancing reading skills of elementary students

In-school mentors’ primary job is to assist students in kindergarten through third grade in practicing their literacy skills, with the goal of reaching grade level milestones by the end of the year. Click here for more information.

SouthernCare Hospice Patient Visitation Looking for volunteers who would be interested in providing our patients with with supportive, compassionate, friendly visits. Volunteers make their own schedule with a minimum of 15-30 minutes twice a month. Volunteers can assist with a variety of things including bingo, ice cream socials, game nights, reading, music entertainment, etc. Orientation and background check required.TB test and CPR certification are provided. Reality's Chance Horse Sanctuary Help The Horses of Reality's Chance Sanctuary Reality's Chance is a horse sanctuary located in Jackson County that rescues any horse that comes to us in need as well as shedding light on the treatment of Mustangs in America.
