Community Action Agency Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Volunteers needed for CAA's VITA Program. At various locations within Jackson County, Community Action Agency provides trained volunteers who can prepare and electronically submit an individual’s income tax return for free.
Reality's Chance Horse Sanctuary Help The Horses of Reality's Chance Sanctuary Reality's Chance is a horse sanctuary located in Jackson County that rescues any horse that comes to us in need as well as shedding light on the treatment of Mustangs in America. Ongoing volunteer opportunities from grooming, feeding, gardening, mending fences, cleaning pastures and community outreach.
Region 2 Area Agency on Aging Save Haven for Seniors Region 2 Area Agency on Aging is looking to partner with local families or individuals willing to volunteer their homes as temporary safe havens for seniors in a situation of abuse and neglect. We are also looking for individuals that can serve as peer supports to program participants. The goal of this initiative is to develop a temporary emergency housing program to improve elder abuse prevention efforts in the Jackson area.

We need volunteers to assist with everything from playing games with the guests, doing laundry, arts and crafts, and service meals to being peer advocates
Energizing Education Community Family Night Looking for volunteers to help with our largest family night for all 7 schools we run EE in. Job duties including helping with parking, making popcorn, ushers, set up, clean up, ticket taking, concessions, food prep and other duties.

With our combined talents and donation of time, we raise awareness and funds for programs that promote our mission.  Our members are offered more than a dozen volunteer opportunities every year making it simple for them to reach their minimum membership service requirement of 10 hours annually.
